Hi I'm Lauren

I grew up in Utah. I love to read books and watch movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play volleyball, not that I'm pro, but I enjoy it. I will be leaving to serve a mission in May. I've worked as a housekeeper in a retirement community, and loved the residents so much. Reading books and watching movies are my favorite pass times, so much so, that I would like to be in the movie industry some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the LDS church. My parents taught and continue to teach me correct principles. Because I was baptised at the age of eight and given the gift of the Holy Ghost, he confirms that what I am being taught is true. I know this church is true. I know that Joseph Smith saw a vision, that he translated the gold plates by the power of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and was written by prophets of old. I know that I am a divine daughter of God, and have a special work to do for my Father in Heaven. I know that my testimony is ever growing, especially as I continue to learn more about the gospel. My testimony is very important to me, because it is what I know to be true, and no one on earth can take that away from me.

How I live my faith

I teach the nine year old kids in primary, and love it! Before that, I was in the Young Womens program, and it was the best thing for me as an adolescent growing up in the church.
