Hi I'm Wayne Moore

I have been a Mormon all my life. I owe a great debt of gratitude to my parents for their care and guidance.

About Me

I grew up in the Salt Lake City area, attended high school and then college at the University of Utah. After graduating in 1970 in Chemical Engineering, I worked in California, then Utah with several companies. I am married, with 7 wonderful children, and now 26 grandchildren !

Why I am a Mormon

My religion means a great deal to me ! It gives purpose and meaning to what is happening to my family, and the world around me. I gain great strength from reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I am grateful for the blessings that God has given to us. We love to serve and help people understand some of the meaning to this life and our experiences.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have been active in the LDS church all our lives. I served at a fairly young age as Bishop in California, then again in Bountiful, Utah. I served in Virginia and North Carolina as a young full-time missionary. Since then, my wife and I have served "couple missions" in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Uganda, and Kona, Hawaii, and Washington D.C. We have served for several years as Church Service Missionaries in the Family History Center in Salt Lake City, with an emphasis on British research and patron services, and returned to fill another assignment at that same location.
