Hi I'm Danissa

I am a beautiful Daughter of a Loving Heavenly Father!

About Me

I attend Brigham Young University studying Family Sciences. But I am taking a break from school to serve a mission in the Japan Tokyo Mission. I am so excited to serve the Lord with all my might. I love sports! I love playing basketball and softball with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this gospel is Chirst´s gospel restored on the earth again. Church is a place where I feel the love of God and the love of the people around me. When I follow Christ and become closer to Him I feel true lasting joy. The principles that are taught are so applicable to me and I know that the Atonement of Jesus Chirst is for me as well as everyone else on this earth. Jesus Chirst has helped me through the many trials of life. He is truely my best friend and teacher. I can truely say that ¨I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints¨ because I am daughter of a loving Heavenly Father and this is where he wants me to be.

How I live my faith

How I am living my faith right now is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints. I will be devoting all of my time until December of 2014 serving the Lord by loving and serving the people around me. I have in the past helped plan youth activities and was a teacher for the women in my college ward.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Danissa
When I read and ponder the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriputres, I always try to focus on a question that I might have. As I search the pages I know that I can always find an answer. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves me because I can feel it when I read their word to me in the scriptures. Show more Show less
