Hi I'm Rebeca

I grew up in New York City. I'm a wedding planner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to school online to be a wedding planner. I love to read. I rather stay home and cuddle up on the couch with a good book then go out.

Why I am a Mormon

I felt like I didn't fit in at church. I didn't believe what they were telling me I should. I didn't like saying the same prayers over and over again. Nothing seemed right to me, so i completely stopped going to church and stopped believing in it all. A few years later, I met some people who were Mormon and I didn't know what to think. I was told so many bad things about Mormons and their beliefs. It took me about a year to even look into the religion. I was to afraid to talk to someone so I went online and asked for a Book of Mormon and someone to talk to me. I waited for what felt like an eternity. Then I was just going to give up I felt like it wasn't meant to be, that same day two sister missionaries knocked on my door that was Jan. 3, 2013. They talked to me about their faith and I realized that was how I viewed things. My first time at their church I knew this was where I belonged. But then came the hard part I had to tell my family I was going to convert. They accepted it and I was baptized March 16, 2013. The best thing I could of done. I knew I am a Mormon. This is where I fit in, this is what I believe, and for all eternity I will be a Mormon with my husband and our family.

How I live my faith

I am a Ward Missionary. I help the missionaries talk to others about our church and faith. Every time I talk to someone about my faith my faith gets strengthened. I read my scriptures and pray everyday by myself and with my husband. I attend Church every Sunday.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?
