Hi I'm MARJORIE

I love arts. I love teaching. I love eternity. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a Filipino, I always love being happy. I consider smiling as part of my daily life. My passion for teaching started when I learned the true gospel and became a full-time missionary. Arts and music are my greatest interests. Being with different people is what I love. I always consider things in it's eternal perspective. I believe in eternity. I hope for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Christian family. In the early years of my life,I consider myself as one of the many lost sheep. I have no exact belief. I have no dreams. I lived my life just the way I want it. Many preachers from different religious groups had even tried to convince me to join them. But no one succeeded. I was twenty-one years old when suddenly I met two full-time missionary Sisters who introduced themselves as Mormons. It was not easy for me to believe on what they were teaching. I thought they are just like "them". I always find a way (even literally) on how to escape them. But one thing I noticed... even though I kept on hiding, they never got tired walking to our house...they never got tired smiling to us..they never got tired talking to us in the most pleasing way...like THERE'S REALLY SOMETHING SPECIAL on what they are teaching us.. I felt something inside me. It's different... Something seems to let me think ..WHY NOT.. The missionary told me to ask Heavenly Father if these things are true. And for the very first time in my life, I learned to pray in the most sincere way.. not knowing what would happen next..I just learned to FOLLOW.I started reading the Book of Mormon. It feels right. I started going to church. It feels more right.I started to avoid all the bad things that I was doing. It feels the best. I was then baptized on September 19, 2009.I know I have found the truth. If you would ask me how can I say that? SIMPLY BECAUSE IT CHANGED MY LIFE... FOREVER.

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving as one of the Youth leaders in our ward. I consider that as a life-changing and exciting moment every time I'm with these young people. My fellow leaders are awesome and continually shows great example in different ways. I love teaching the young women with the gospel. It's my way to help them strengthen their testimony... and strengthen my faith too. I admire and love each of them despite their unique characters. They taught me how to love, how to understand and how to be more like our Savior Jesus Christ. I can say that this is not just a duty for me... IT'S A BLESSING.
