Hi I'm Kandas

I am a medical school wife and a full time mom. I love my family, laughing, popsicles, being outside and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a medical school wife and a full time mom. My job isn't always easy but it is rewarding! I love spending time with my family, sewing, crafting, Cafe Rio, laughing, dancing, hugs from my two year old and a clean house. I served my mission in Paris, France and someday I hope to see more of the world. I received my bachelor degree in communications and would love to someday be a motivational speaker. I love making new friends and surprising people. I love popsicles, traditions, playing games, and a good chick flick.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes my life simple and happy. In everything that I do I realize that the gospel plays a part. I am the wife, mother and friend I am because of the gospel. I am Mormon because life has more meaning when I understand that I am literally a daughter of God that knows me personally and loves me. I am Mormon because I receive comfort in knowing that my family can be together forever. I am Mormon because I agree completely with the teachings and counsel we've been given. I am Mormon because I have come to find out for myself that it is true. And simply, I am Mormon because living the gospel brings me great joy!

How I live my faith

I love the phrase "live my faith" because I believe that the most important thing is just that, actually living what you believe. I strongly believe that if you take the time to read your scriptures daily, spend as much time together as a family as possible, attend the temple as often as you can, go to all of your sunday meetings weekly, serve others regularly and pray always- you will find peace and your life will be filled with happiness. That is how I strive to live my life and I am grateful to say that I am happy!
