Hi I'm Alec

I grew up in Southern California. I have a passion for riding dirtbikes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Alec Michael Bogh. I've lived in Highland California all of my life. I am 19 years old and serving in the Detroit Michigan Mission until June 2015. I am the oldest of 3 kids. I have a 15 year old sister and a 13 year old brother. My family is very important in my life and I wouldn't be the man I am today without them. My family loves to go to the Sand Dunes and ride our quads and dirtbikes. I have a massive extended family with me being number 82 from my great grandma. Everything in my life comes after my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of this church. Even at a young age I knew this church was true because of the blessings and many other things not only me but my family have witnessed and have been apart of and nothing can beat the feeling of the Spirit. I love this Gospel and nothing can change that. I am a Mormon for that exact reason. I love the way I feel about this gospel and it makes me so happy so I decided at a very young age that I was going to serve a mission. I wanted to share my experiences and the way I truly feel about this gospel with the people in Michigan. I love this gospel with all my heart even though I don't have a really cool conversion story I know that this is the true church and this church has changed lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to everyone I meet. As a Missionary I meet a lot of new people each day and most of the time they are struggling with something in their life. This is why I am here. I want to help everyone that I can at the best of my ability. I have many people back home who support me in all that I do especially my mission. I love being on a mission. Sometimes its hard, but the things that bring me down also strengthen my faith in Christ. I know that He went through things that I wouldnt be able to bare. So there is no reason for me to complain. I love my faith and I want to share it with the world.
