Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Southern California. I love who I am. I am a Mormon

About Me

I love sports and having fun My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer when I was 12... died when I was 15 I eloped when I was 18 I have been married for 8 1/2 years and still feel butterflies whenever I see him... TRUTH! I love being a stay at home mom to my 2 beautiful girl. We have too much fun together.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. As a kid I went to church with a lot of different friends as well as my own church. I loved their churches but I never felt the same peace I felt when I went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After my mom passed away I know I had to gain my OWN testimony of which was true. I choose to be Mormon because the teachings help make sense of this world. I love the spirit when you walk into the building. I love that I get to have a relationship with my Heavenly Father. I'm taught that I am his daughter and I know that this is true. He is my Heavenly Father. I know that I will see my mom again. Her death was not a farewell, it was a "see you soon". I also know that when I am married to my husband for all eternity that means I will also get to see and be with my family after death. I love the teachings which are taught in this religion. I love my relationship it gives me with not only my Heavenly Father but also my family here on Earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by service. I believe a great way to serve is to be friends with people. You feel more connected and know what people's needs are. I currently do secretary work and help make a blog and newsletter for the women of my church. I am able to visit and teach other sisters from my church and see to their physical and spiritual needs. In the past I have helped out with our youth, participated in choirs that sing during our service and participated in taking care of nursery age kids.
