Hi I'm Morgan!

I hunt, I sing, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

A little bit about me... I absolutely love the outdoors! Some of my favorite outdoor hobbies are: Hunting, fly-fishing, four-wheeling, camping, shooting, hiking, horse back riding, and wake-boarding. Basically.. I love anything outdoors! I love spending time with my daddy and enjoying the beauty of nature! I absolutely love spending time with my family. They are everything to me and my best friends! Singing and playing the guitar is also one of my passions. I love music. Especially country! It's beautiful and has such inspiration. Plus, depending on the type of music, it uplifts you and makes you happy! I just finished my second semester at college, and it was a neat experience! I also started a program called "Home~Sweet~Home" to help Homeless Teenagers. It was a huge success and an incredible opportunity. I'm grateful that I was able to help people who were in need. I am currently preparing to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I am leaving in July to the Rochester New York Mission! And also the Hill Cumorah Visitor's Center! I am beyond excited!!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Oh goodness. There are so many reasons why I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I guess the first reason is because of the true happiness it brings me. There has been times in my life when I've been devastated and lost, and because of this Gospel I've been able to find my way again. The Lord comforts me with peace, joy, and reassures me of His love for me. When I center my life around Christ, The Lord, and the things which He has commanded of us, I find true happiness. The second reason is because of the gift of Repentance. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, sacrificed His life for our sins and transgressions. Because of The Atonement of Jesus Christ we have been given the gift to apologize for our sins and be completely forgiven. Repentance allows me to apologize for my sins and no longer feel guilty. It eases my burdens and it comforts me to know that I am forgiven. Once I humbly apologize for my weaknesses, I am reminded that I will not commit the sin again.. I'm also reminded that I need to forgive myself. Repentance is real and it works. He will forgive you. The third reason is because I always feel of His love for me. He has blessed us with so many beautiful and amazing gifts, and it is all because He loves us so much. I know that if I want to receive His blessings, I need to be obedient. He has also given us the beautiful gift of The Holy Ghost. Through The Holy Ghost I feel of His love for me. It testifies to me that this is the true church and it warns me of right and wrong. Through Christ, I find strength. He is the example I'm trying to follow, and I'm striving to become like Him each and everyday. I know that if we follow our Savior and Heavenly Father, they will guide us in the right direction. They love us so much and want us to become all that we can be. Prayer is real and our Father in Heaven hears us. Our Savior is real and will come again someday. This Gospel is real and it is true. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

How do I live my Faith? It's easy! Simply living each day! Everything I do is centered around my Faith. It gets me through each day. It's because I have hope that everything will work out the way it's suppose to. Because of my Faith, It makes me happy... a true happiness that is indescribable. I've found that what helps my Faith the most is helping other people. "...Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true."(Alma 32:21) Because I have Faith and Hope, I know that my Savior, Jesus Christ, lives. Our Savior is merciful and selfless, and wants to help all of us. I know that our purpose in life is to become like Him, and that's why helping people helps my Faith. Attending church, reading my scriptures, praying, and keeping the commandments all strengthen my Faith. I'm doing the things The Lord asks of us and I'm putting my trust in Him.
