Hi I'm Brianne

I love my family, my friends, running, and teaching math. I want to make a positive difference in people's lives. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a track and cross-country captain in high school and I love to run. I also love to spend time with my family, write novels, and swim. I am studying math, and I want to be a math teacher because I love math, I love teaching, and I think the world needs better math teachers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my savior Jesus Christ, and I have felt the Holy Spirit testifying to me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and seen its positive influence in my life. I have prayed several times to know if it is true, and I have always gotten a peaceful, warm feeling telling me that it is right. In the Book of Mormon it says "by their fruits ye shall know them," and I have seen so many good things come because of the gospel that I know it must be true. It has blessed my life and the lives of my family immensely.

How I live my faith

Everyday, I try to become more like Jesus. I want to love as He loved and be an example of the believers in what I say, how I act, and what I choose. I love reading the Book of Mormon, serving others, and praying to my Heavenly Father. I also love going to the temple and the added measure of the Spirit of the Lord I gain from serving there and keeping my covenants.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Brianne
In the church, men and women have separate but equal roles. Women do not have a second place in the Kingdom of God, and they are entitled to all the blessings of the priesthood. Men and women are created to complete each other, and without one or the other it is impossible to achieve perfection. Show more Show less
