Hi I'm Jayne Price Edwards

A Utah girl, born and raised, currently preaching the good word in the land of the rising sun!

About Me

I am a lover of life in general. I love to be happy and here are some things that make me happiest. I absolutely love all things musical theater-dancing, singing, acting. I love to be with my family, they are truly my best friends (no matter how cliché that sounds). I love the knowledge that I have that families are eternal. I love to travel and catch a glimpse into the life of people who live in different cultures and countries. I love all things American History-I want to teach History when I grow up, so I love to learn new things. I love BYU football. My grandpa used to coach there, and my brother played so it’s safe to say BYU football runs through the blood of members of my family. But most importantly, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love how the gospel makes people happy, and I feel so blessed every day to have it in my life. I love my Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know of the happiness that the gospel brings. I feel this genuine happiness and joy daily. I am happiest when I'm doing things that are in line with the church. When I am reading my scriptures, praying daily, serving others, and striving to be more like the Savior, I am happiest. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple things. I attend church weekly and participate in activities that happen each Sunday. I read my scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father. When there is a ward service project, I go and participate knowing that we are helping someone who needs it. When members of my ward are having problems, or need a friend, I go and visit them and try to help them in any way I can. I know that the strength to live the gospel lies in the simple aspects of the gospel.
