Hi I'm Jessica

I can say the alphabet backwards. I LOVE music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've graduated from high school, and will be studying music again after my mission. I participated in my high school marching band for four years, and absolutely loved every moment of it. I have four younger brothers who I love to death. They are my best friends. I love to read and be outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true Church of Jesus Christ. Yes, I've grown up in the church, but I have become fully converted. I read my scriptures daily and I know that they are given from God to help and direct us. I have received answers to my prayers through reading and studying the scriptures. I know that Heavenly Father is aware of us as individuals and is aware of our individual needs. I have felt His love and care for me in those moments that I felt most alone. We are NEVER alone. He is always there, even if we can't see Him. I know that every trial that we face in life is meant only to strengthen us and help us grow closer to Him. There is nothing that we will not be able to overcome without His help. I am so grateful for His watchful eye over me always. I know He lives, and I love Him so much.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving an LDS Mission. I will be serving the people in Argentina, Neuquen. I have given up a year and a half of my life to help others receive the same joy and peace that I have in my life. I am willing to be away from my family for a brief time so that others can be with their families for eternity. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Jessica
No, not all Mormons are required to serve a mission. But many choose to. We choose to because of the love and joy that we've felt from living this Gospel. And because of that love and joy, we want others to have the opportunity to feel that same love as well. Serving a mission is completely voluntary, and is a way of showing our love to God. What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Jessica
The gift of the Holy Ghost is given to those baptized members of the LDS Church, and has blessed my life immensely. The Holy Ghost guides us and warns us of danger. We just have to be in tune with it and listen to the little thoughts and feelings that we receive. The Holy Ghost is also a comforter. This, for me, has been an invaluable gift. There have been countless times when I've needed some comfort and the Holy Ghost has always been there. It is God's gift to us to help us. But this gift is dependent on our faithfulness and obedience. We need to prove that we are worthy of the gift so that the Holy Ghost can and will stay with us always. Show more Show less
