Hi I'm Megan Elizabeth

I was born and raised in the church, and couldn't imagine my life without it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the desert, and love the hot summers there. I now go to a university and am learning to love the snowy winters of where I go to school. My parents both went to my university and I am following in their footsteps. I love the arts- singing, dance (especially ballet), and theater. I want to study medicine and become a doctor one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer, and this is His one and only true church on the earth today. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy, and it will help me return to live with God again one day. By following the commandments of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I can live with my family forever in the eternities. I am a Mormon because I love the person that I am becoming through the gospel. It is only through the gospel that I can become the person that God intends for me to be. God has a plan for me and that plan is perfect. The gospel of Jesus Christ is part of His plan for all of God's children. Each one of us is a literal child of God. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that he did see God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith did bring Christ's gospel back to the earth in these Latter-days. I am a Mormon; I know, live, and love this wonderful church that I am a part of.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a day to day basis. I have strived to live what I believe at all times. In our congregation I play hymns on the piano for our meetings. I love being able to contribute to the spirit of the meeting by playing heavenly music. I also live my faith by helping others in our congregation feel welcome and loved. Each month, I check up on neighbors to make sure they are doing ok. I always stand ready to help those who are in need.
