Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a busy college student, wife, home-maker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the only girl of five boys! I love sports and the outdoors. I was recently married to my sweetheart. My husband and I are college students, planning to graduate in April, 2014!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the true church because of all the little things that have happened in my life. I have seen the Lord's hand in my life daily. The Lord strengthen's me and helps me to become better. I know that when I pray, God listens to me and wants to bless me. I may not know everything there is to know about the principles and doctrines of the church, but I do know that I have faith that the Lord has a plan for me and all of His children. I know that God created this beautiful world, and that we all have a purpose on this earth. I know that there is life after death and I am so grateful for that knowledge and to also know that I can live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I have the wonderful opportunity of teaching the young women ages 16 to 18 in my local congregation. It is wonderful to see their beautiful smiling faces each week and to help them along in their journey of life. This life is to be enjoyed, not just endured, and it is important to live in gratitude daily. I love to spend time visiting a few other women throughout the month, and make friends within my community. I have even joined a book club recently and I am so excited to learn more secular knowledge and enjoy spending time with the women in my neighborhood. I am so grateful for the blessings of the LDS church, and that we are promised, that if we are faithful, we can live with our families for Eternity. My husband and I can be with each other for longer than just this earth life. And I am so ecstatic to have that knowledge and responsibility. My husband and I are willing to improve in our live's daily by constantly reading the scriptures, giving service, and praying to God. We have the opportunity to spend lots of time with our elderly Grandfather, and we learn much from him and his life experiences. We are happiest when we are serving others.
