Hi I'm Megan Butler

Singer. Dancer. Animal lover. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a music lover. I, and my whole family, love to sing together. I have been a singer since I was three. I love to ballroom dance and ride horses. I'm an easy going out-doorsy type that just loves nature and doing things outside, especially with family. I love all animals and dream of working with them in some way. I just got an adorable German Shepherd mix puppy for my birthday, she is keeping me on my toes. I am almost done with my Bachelors degree in Dance from BYU and am excited to see what else life has in store for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I have grown up being a member and just kind of went with the flow for a while not having my own testimony. I really started to gain a testimony when I became a teenager. I started going to girls camp with my ward and really starting to see the importance of reading the Book of Mormon. As soon as I started doing that I couldn't deny the feelings I had that it was true. Every time I go through a trial and suffer a little I learn to rely more on the Lord and I grow in my love of the gospel every time. I know this church is true and it brings me so much happiness in my life. I don't know where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I have served a full time mission despite complications with foot surgery and changing missions. It was the best experience of my life and I will always look back with fondness. I currently serve as a Relief Society instructor, which helps me feel like a missionary again! I love being able to teach by the spirit and study the Gospel with another person in mind. I try every day to be a good example and live my life the way the Lord would be pleased with. I want people to look at me and know that I love and live my faith.
