Hi I'm Gabriella

I am from the beautiful state of California. I love to dance. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a collage student at Brigham Young University. I love it there! I study international relations with a Folk Dance minor. I am on the BYU Folk Dance team where I get to learn about the many cultures of the world. Some of the many hobbies I enjoy are reading, watching a good film, and sleeping. I am so excited to be serving a mission soon so that I can help others come to know of this amazing church. It is such a wonderful opportunity that I have been given.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. Born and raised. Some may say that means I haven't really experianced anything else and that I am just following my parents blindly. But, I gained my own testimony of this gospel and its truths. I've experianced times of my own doubts, expecially when my brother passed away. I was so torn up. I could not believe that a loving Heavenly Father would take away my best friend from me. I did a lot of personal fasting and praying those few months after. I want, no I needed, to know if what I had been taught was the truth. Then one night I was reading a scripture that my own brother would read a lot. It hit me that the Lord really does hear me, he loves me, and I will see my brother again. It was an undeniable feeling. I know that this gospel is true and that I have a loving Heavenly Father who will take care of me and does not take away without leaving the comfort that I need.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. It is important to me that those I love around and those I work with know that I am LDS, or a Mormon. It sets the standard of how I should act and what they should expect out of me. I stay away from gossip or bad words. I try to work really hard and will try to be honest in all my dealings. In the my ward back at school I was what we called a "mom" of my family home evening group. We got together once a week as a group and had a spiritual thought and than usually some activity such as eating brownies or playing games. I loved my calling and they ways I am able to participate in my ward.
