Hi I'm Anna

I'm from Tennessee, born and raised. I strive daily to be what Heavenly Father knows I can be. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm planning on serving a full-time mission for The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints next year. l love anything hands-on, from drawing to playing piano to digging my hands into clay. I also have a passion for reading; not just novels, but also non-fiction books on gardening, science, and any kind of craft.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Latter-Day Saint family. Growing up, my parents have always taught me out of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price. We watch General Conference twice a year, where we are spiritually nourished by the words of God through our Prophet, as well as the Twelve Apostles and other leaders. Throughout my youth, I've come to know my Father in Heaven: that He loves me, that He wants me to become like He is. I know that He is real, and that His Son, Jesus Christ, did come to earth to live and die and rise again that we all might live again someday. Through prayer, fasting, reading the Scriptures, and going to Church and to the Temple, I've gained a strong Testimony that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is here on the earth once more, in it's fullness.

How I live my faith

I am the Primary pianist (the classes for children ages 3-11). It's very fun hearing the children's voice sing "wiggle songs" like "If You're Happy And You Know It" and also very special to hear them bear their testimonies through hymns such as "I Am A Child Of God." As a nineteen-year-old, I have the great opportunity to attend Institute, a program for ages 18-30 held during the week. In Institute class, we discuss Gospel topics, study the Scriptures, and learn new ways to draw closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
