Hi I'm Breanne

I'm a dancer, I'm an author, I love chocolate, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior in college studying English Creative Writing, Editing, and Illustration. I want to become a published author someday. I love anything dance, getting outdoors, and just having FUN! I love good food and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I LOVE THIS GOSPEL. I know it with everything I have and everything I am. It has become who I am because I feel the love that Heavenly Father and the Savior have for me. If Heavenly Father loves me so much that He sent His Only Begotten Son, and if Jesus Christ loves me so much that He sacrificed His very life and suffered for my sins, how much do I owe them then? And you know what? That’s the truly amazing thing about this gospel. Christ has asked for nothing in return, because we can never truly repay Him for His sacrifice—but all He asks is that we believe and trust in Him and that we follow the commandments that Heavenly Father has given us. These aren’t rules or restrictions, these are ways that we show Heavenly Father that we love Him. I love Him. I know that He’s real and that He is there when I pray to Him. I know without a doubt He will answer our prayers—even if it’s not in the way or timing we expect or want. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that He suffered for my sins. I know that the Atonement is real and that we can be forgiven no matter how far we have traveled off the path. I know that Thomas S. Monson, Joseph Smith, and the other prophets of the Church receive revelation from Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that because of God’s Plan, I can be with my family for eternity, and that blessing brings me so much happiness. The Church brings me so much peace and joy. Although it may seem hard to live at times, it blesses my life in more ways than I thought possible. Life is easier and happier with the Church in it. I know it. I live it. I love it!

How I live my faith

I recently returned from serving a mission in the Charleston, West Virginia area for 18 months. I love my faith and want to share it with everyone I can. At home, I attend church every Sunday for three hours; the meetings consist of Sacrament, Sunday School, and our women's organization (or Relief Society). Of course, religion isn't just going to a building on Sunday, and so I try to live my faith throughout the week by living a clean, wholesome, fun life! It's not enough to profess to be a Christian. You have to live it every day of your life! I do my best to do that and rely on the Atonement of Christ when I fall short.
