Hi I'm Joshua Davis

I moved a lot in my childhood. I was born into the church. I enjoy playing any sport that involves a ball.

About Me

As I was growing up my dad had a job that required moving a few times. I've lived in Puerto Rico, California, Mexico City, and in Utah. I am a laid back kind of guy, but when its time to work I work hard. Im a jock, I'll play any sport and probably enjoy it. I like to go camping or hiking outdoors, but wouldn't mind staying in and relaxing either. I played football through out highschool, I ended my highschool career and graduated from Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah. I will be serving a full-time mission in Xalapa, Mexico from May 2013-May 2015. I will be going to college when i return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, and I have learned to love the teachings and the resposiblities of the Church. I have seen the blessings that have come into my life. I can't imagine being anything else. The gospel brings joy into my life. When I strive to live the teachings of the gospel is when I am happiest. I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ, I have felt the answers to my prayers. I love the Book of Mormon, I love the feeling i get when I am reading it. I am a mormon because I believe in all the teaching I have been taught.

How I live my faith

I am serving the Lord by preaching the teachings of our church to the people of Xalapa, Mexico. As a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I strive to follow the commandments that our Father in Heaven has given us. I am always trying to be like Jesus. A way that helps me do this is by reading the Book of Mormon and praying, it is the easiest and one of the best ways to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. While reading and praying, I strengthen my spiritual being.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Joshua Davis
The only way that one may come to know that Mormonism is true is through sincere prayer. Through sincere prayer God will answer all you doubts. We pray to our Heavenly Father, give thanks for the blessings he's gave us, ask him for the answers we are looking for, and end it,"in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen." As you continue to follow the teachings of mormonism and study them, God will answer your prayer the the Holy Ghost. Pay attention to the feelings you have as you study, a feeling of calmness and peace usually is a sign of the Holy Ghost. When you have that feeling, God is answering your prayers and telling you that Mormonism is true. Show more Show less
