Hi I'm Hannah

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing the piano and singing. I also enjoy acting for school and in the community. I am going to college right now and I love it! I enjoy reading, especially books like "The Lord of the Rings" and mysteries. My family is an enormous part of my life and I like to spend lots of time with them. I've been on a swim team and began taking dance classes once I got into college. I've been in choirs and I especially enjoy accompanying for them. Music is a huge influence in my life. I have been singing and playing the piano for several years and I still love to sing and play every moment I get. I have a lot of fun watching movies and playing with my siblings. I have just been called on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this Church for my entire life. As I grew up I found that my testimony and my knowledge of Christ and the truthfulness of His Gospel were growing stronger and more independent of the testimonies of my parents and leaders. As I moved away from home for college, I realized that I had to stand on my own testimony and I had to know for a fact that this was true. I decided that I would search for a closer and more personal relationship with my Father in Heaven. As I studied the scriptures, especially The Book of Mormon, I found that I was growing stronger. I was finding a more sturdy relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am never more happy than when I am living His Gospel and following the commandments. There has been an immense difference in my life as I have striven to become more like my brother Jesus Christ and follow in His footsteps. I have been filled with love for others and have been more open to the quiet promptings of the Holy Spirit. I have come to love this Gospel even more and have come to understand it in ways that I never have before. This Gospel is true. I have no doubt in my mind that it is. I live the Gospel and I have never been happier. Christ is my brother. He is my friend and He will never leave me alone or comfortless. He knows every pain and sorrow that I have been through and He has and will continue to strengthen me to accomplish all that I am called upon to do. My Heavenly Father loves me more than I can even know or understand and if I listen to Him, through the Holy Spirit He will guide me and gently lead me back to His presence to live with His through the eternities. I know that Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that He suffered and died for me and for everyone that has ever lived on this earth. I know that He was resurrected, rising from the dead that we might live again. I know this Gospel and this Church are true. I know it.

How I live my faith

In my ward I have been a youth leader and a supervisor for visiting teaching, both of which were great opportunities. I have been given the chance to accompany choirs, solos, and play in various meetings. I enjoy every opportunity I get to play the piano for others and have done so for several people in my ward and stake.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

The Book of Mormon and the Bible are testaments of Jesus Christ. As such, as you study them and prayerfully consider what you are reading the Holy Spirit will bring to your mind a knowledge of Christ, His doctrine and gospel, and the plan that our Heavenly Father has for each of us. The scriptures are given to us to bring us closer to Christ and our Heavenly Father and to teach us the commandments so that we know how to live in accordance with what our Father in Heaven asks and commands of us. The Book of Mormon and the Bible were both written to bring us to Christ and to bring to us a better and more full understanding of His life and mission. They are given to us to bring us happiness through a knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan for us and through a further knowledge of His love for each of us individually. Show more Show less
