Hi I'm McKenzie

I grew up in Provo, I love volleyball, sunshine, windy days, laughing and my family. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a senior in my college education, I am studying Art History with a minor in Pre-Med, and French. I am planning on attending Medical school. I love being outdoors, hiking, swimming, fishing, whatever, and in any weather. I am the middle child in my family with two sisters I love spending time with them and laughing as we experience life together with my parents. I played volleyball in high school and I can't wait to start traveling the world!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS church and have been a member since I was baptized at age 8. I have always known the gospel is true and everything makes sense to me as to why it is the true gospel. I love to read the scriptures and have enjoyed reading Doctrine and Covenants since I as a young child. I find comfort in my Savior and when I go through trials I know that He is always with me and understands what I am going through. The Atonement is the biggest blessing in my life, along with my eternal family. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true church with the guidance of Heavenly Father, and that Jesus Christ atoned and died for each one of us. I know that as we try to live righteously our lives will be blessed and we will have the Holy Ghost with us to guide us. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true testament of Christ and that as we search it and other scriptures we will be able to do things with confidence and become closer to our Heavenly Parents. I know that when we pray we are communicating with Heavenly Father and that He hears our prayers and answers them. I know that if we live worthily we can attend the temple and be sealed with our families for eternity. I know that we have a true prophet of God who leads the church under the direction of Heavenly Father. I know that as we try to live gospel principles we will be guided and our lives will be filled with peace

How I live my faith

I try to be an example for those around me, whether it is my fellow classmates, roommates, primary children, or youth in my home ward. I attend weekly Sacrament meetings and feel of my Savior's love in those meetings, I accept and serve faithfully in my callings. I have gone through life trying to help others to reach their full potential as well as myself. I realize that as I make mistakes I can use the Gospel and Jesus Christ's Atonement to overcome my sins and burdens and become perfect through Him. I am serving a full-time mission for the Church in Wichita, Kansas and I hope to be able to serve many more as I go through life to help others have the same happiness that I do from living the Gospel.
