Hi I'm Lee

I'm a well traveled redneck from Idaho who married MUCH better than my wife did. We have two daughters and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a well traveled redneck from Idaho. In addition to living in Idaho I've also lived in the states of Washington, South Carolina, Kansas, Utah, Colorado, Wisconsin, California, and now New Hampshire. I have also lived in Chile where I served as a missionary for two years and spent eight years in the United States Army. I married much better than my wife did, THANK GOODNESS! Truthfully, that's an inside joke that we share. Together we have two daughters. When I'm not working we love to camp as a family and to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

While, I was born and raised as a member of the Mormon church and had parents that insisted that I go to church every Sunday, having a testimony that the Church's teachings were the teachings of God was something that I had to encounter myself. This was done in a simple manner. I read the Book of Mormon and then prayed to God if the teachings in the book were true. Through the Holy Ghost I felt God's answer to this prayer and know that the Book of Mormon is true. Knowing that the Book of Mormon is true validates Joseph Smith as a true prophet of God and that the church that Joseph organized is God's church.

How I live my faith

I've held many positions in the church but I'm usually asked to serve in Sunday School. I'm currently the adult Sunday School teacher for Gospel Doctrine which is the class that most adults attend. I like this calling because most members come to class, regardless of time or experience in church, with a plethora of knowledge, experience, and wisdom. There isn't a week that goes by where I don't learn more about gospel principles and how to be a better individual, spouse, and parent. Getting this additional knowledge is great because I'll use all the help that I can get. Having lived in many places in the United States and abroad I've attended church in many, many places. I can witness that the church is consistent in gospel teachings regardless of location and language. This is good because gospel principles are essential to living in a manner pleasing to God.
