Hi I'm Andrea

I live in Ireland. I love being creative and like to write poetry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very creative person. I like to write poetry. I like to tell stories to my children, either involving me and my family when we were younger, or completely fictional and fantastical. I enjoy every opportunity to perform my poetry or to do storytelling locally. I like to make notebooks and bookmarks, and sell these at a local craft fair. I like to be unique and stand out from the crowd. I take advantage of the opportunities to learn new skills and meet new people. I like to do classes in my local community. I like to listen to music, read or watch good movies. I like to laugh and giggle with both family and friends, this helps keep my young at heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. My parents became Mormon shortly before I was born. I grew up being taught the gospel and I never doubted it as a child and for most of my teenage years. I started questioning things as I left my teenage years, and ended up turning my back on my religion for a while. I started going back out to church again in my early twenties and felt very happy there. I started remembering all the things I had learnt as I grew up. Today I choose to be a Mormon. Being a Mormon brings me happiness and joy, even if all else is falling apart around me. I feel at peace as I pray and read the scriptures, I always feel better when I have attended Church. I know that no matter how hard things can get that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and he will always answer my prayers. I have always gotten through the hard times in my life, even when I thought I couldn't. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and blesses me, and knows me and what I am going through. I teach my children to be good Mormons as I want them to have the happiness and peace that I have in my life and to know that when they pray they will get an answer. I am so grateful that God loved me so much he sent his only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to suffer and die for me. I know that I would not be the person I am today without the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus. That is the love I have seen in my parents and that I hope I have for my children too.

How I live my faith

I like to make a difference in the lives of the people I work with. I teach a class of 8 - 12 year olds at church every Sunday. I enjoy my time with them and love to see them learn as I teach them about the Savior and the things that we believe in. When my children were younger I was involved in running a carer and toddler group in my local community. I have been involved with my local school and sat on local committees. I like to do classes in the local community, as it gives chance for me to befriend new people and a chance to share the gospel with the people I meet.
