Hi I'm Amanda

I love all things crafty. I believe music lives in the soul. I am a mommy to three beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town and lived there until I turned 21. I got married, moved to a big city so my husband could go to school and we started our family. I have an Associates degree and I plan on going back to obtain my Bachelor's. I take great pride in supporting my husband's career by taking care of our children and serving everyday to make our house a home. I played the flute in middle school and high school and I think I still know how. I have a desire in me to learn knew things. I want to teach myself how to play the piano so I can fill my home with music. I want to teach my children. I taught myself to sew and now I can make blankets and quilts and mend clothing. I love reading young adult Sci-fi novels and meeting new people. I love making new friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that within His church, I am never lost. My strength, my convictions, my love for Him and His children on this earth are all given to me by His love and desire to be with His children again. I am a Mormon because I know through personal experiences and inquiries that this is His gospel. That Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and through him the fullness of the truth has been restored to the earth once more. If you knew that, wouldn't you be a Mormon too?

How I live my faith

I go to church, I read my scriptures, I help those in need. Am I perfect at it? No, of course not. But I consistently try and pray that I can buoy someone up or that I may find that passage of scripture that can help me or someone I know be comforted in a time of need. I try to be an example of Christ's love. I believe by doing these things I am living my faith.
