Hi I'm Collette

I'm a dancer, piano player, student, daughter, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I played numerous sports when I was younger, but when I was in eighth grade I found dance and I LOVE dancing! I hope to be able to continue to grow and develop in that talent! I have been playing piano for eleven years now and I have taught piano for two years. I never enjoyed practicing when I was younger, but the older I became, the more I enjoyed being able to play. I'm so thankful that my mom forced me to practice when I was younger. I still play occasionally and I will always have a soft place in my heart for the piano. I currently am attending college although I still am not sure what I want to do when I grow up! More recently, I have been called to serve the Lord on a mission! I am so excited to go out and share my testimony with God's children and to add to their faith, or to help them find Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior. I have studied this gospel for many years and have prayed many times for confirmation about the principles of the gospel. I have gained a testimony over the years as I have practiced the principles taught. I see how happy my grandparents and my parents are as they listen to our Prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, read their scriptures, attend church, and do all they can to become more like Christ. I want to be able to share that message of happiness to everyone!

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith each and every day by the way I speak and by my actions. My greatest example is my Savior, and while I am far from perfect, I try to be as Christlike as I possibly can. In church I accompany the hymns during our church service. It has been such a blessing for me to have that calling during school because that has kept me motivated to continue practicing the piano even when my school work load has been overwhelming!
