Hi I'm Ray

I've lived in Utah all my life and been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life too.

About Me

I love playing ultimate Frisbee and going mountain biking. I am a BYU footbal fan. I like skiing during the winter when I can't be out mountain biking. I am going into Computer Science studying at Utah Valley University and have had a couple jobs doing computer program testing and programming. When I was a teenager I enjoyed going camping with the other boys in my ward. We would go biking, water skiing rock climbing, cliff jumping into water and all sorts of other fun stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up being a Mormon. Both my dad's parents and my mom's parents are Mormon. As I have grown up I have been able to receive multiple confirmations from the Lord himself telling me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints is the true church on the Earth today. That Joseph Smith was visited by God the eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ and was told that the fullness of the gospel had been lost from the Earth and that through inspiration and visitations of angels Joseph Smith was able to restore the Gospel to this Earth. I believe that other churches have a lot of truth and am grateful for the people who strive to follow the truths that they know and learn from going to church. I hope that one day everyone will be able to learn of the fullness of the gospel and receive all the truths that our Heavenly Father has. I know that Jesus Christ Atoned for our sins and that if we keep the commandments we will be forgiven of our sins and be able to live with him for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I have had multiple opportunities to teach others in my ward what I know from the scriptures and learn a lot about the scriptures and the gospel as I have done so.
