Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a wife, mother, registered nurse, and a total country girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love dancing, riding horses, baking, exercising, and traveling. My husband and I like hiking, watching food network/HGTV, and cooking! I'm that at-home-baker who someday dreams of opening up a storefront selling cupcakes and cakes. I am the mom of one little girl, with another on the way!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon, but I have chosen to continue to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I had to make a choice of whether or not I believed in this Church. I prayed, read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and studied. I know without a doubt that I am where I need to be in His Church. I know that God loves me and each person on the Earth. He wants each of us to realize our potential and individual mission so we can help others and be who He sent us here to be.

How I live my faith

I attend Church each Sunday with my husband. Throughout the week, I am also involved in other activities in our ward. I enjoy serving in the Church, no matter what calling I am doing, whether it be a leadership position or something less seen by others. It brings me happiness to serve others by making and delivering meals, feeding the missionaries, serving at the temple, and much more. My husband and I strive to read scriptures and pray daily as a family and as individuals. We also strive to have "Family Home Evening" on Monday night. I also enjoy reading articles in the Church magazine, The Ensign. I find that these resources help to buoy me up when I am feeling sad, and give me a greater desire to be a better version of myself than I was the day before.
