Hi I'm JD

I love my friends and my family. I grew up in Arizona. I'm currently serving as a full time missionary in Scotland.

About Me

I have a great love for sports and competition. My first word was ball and believe it or not, I actually learned how to walk before I could even crawl. I cannot remember a time in my life growing up when I did not have some kind of sports competition to go to. I have played on basketball, baseball, or American football teams since I was about 5 and I continued with all three until my senior year of High School. Sports have taught me how to deal with adversity and how to work hard. I also have a love for playing music. Although I quit piano lessons when I was 12 (which I still regret to this day), playing the piano has always been a stress reliever for me. Whether I struck out three times in a baseball game, bombed a test, or just had a bad day, I could always go to the piano and play my sorrows away. I also play the french horn, and did so throughout High School. Playing in the symphonic band at my High School is also something that I loved. I have made friendships through music that I know will last forever. Finally, one thing that I need to say is that I have the best family EVER! My Mom has got to be the best Mom on this planet (no disrespect to your Mom, but you know what I mean). My Dad is pretty great too, I guess. They have done such a wonderful job raising me and my 5 siblings. Our family is not perfect, not by a long shot, but we truly do have a love in our home that I will always be sincerely grateful for.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is what God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I live my faith by sharing it with everyone that I meet. I am currently a missionary for the church in Aberdeen, Scotland. I love being a missionary.
