Hi I'm Lowell Welburn

I moved to California from New Mexico when I was two. I can ride anything from unicycles to motorcycles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of seven and I am the youngest child. I've lived about 20 minutes away from the nearest town on a little 5 acre patch. For the most part I keep myself busy by playing any sort of sport that I can find. I played on my high school's football, cross country, basketball, and track teams. Over this past year I had the chance to attend CSU Chico where I even got to play on the ultimate frisbee team.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the main reasons why I am a Mormon is because I have noticed the joy and happiness the gospel brings to peoples' lives as well as my own. It has brought me incredible joy knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father who wants us to come back to him. He has blessed my family as well as many other families with love and peace in the home. I know this because I have seen the difference it makes when the gospel is brought to a family and it is always a positive change. I just love the joy that it brings.

How I live my faith

The greatest chance that I have had to live my faith is through the example that I got to set in college. With the great influence of alcohol and the partying lifestyle that went on in my college, I pretty much stuck out like a sore thumb because I didn't do any of these things. Many people noticed the choices that I made and asked me why I made them. I responded that it was because I am a Mormon and that I knew from my faith that I wasn't supposed to do it. By this simple act, I was able to stand as an example to others and share my testimony.
