Hi I'm Megan

I'm proud South African, a full-time missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, and am currently living in Manchester, England. I love to travel and experience the many diferent cultures that the world encompasses. I am happy when I am with my family, they are also my best friends. I love being outdoors and being adventurous!

Why I am a Mormon

The simple answer to why I am a Mormon is because I know for sure that it is true. Although I was raised in the Church, there came a point in my life where I had to decide for myself which direction my life would go and whether I really wanted to be a part of the Church. This was not a particularly hard decision to make because I have seen first-hand the blessings that living the Gospel has brought to my life and the lives of the ones I love. When I have had any trials in my life, I have always felt like I can get down on my knees and speak to my Heavenly Father about it. I am so grateful for Christ's atonement because he has suffered for every one of my pains, heartaches and sins, and understands everything that I've experienced. The Gospel has helped me to direct my life to a happy and exciting path. I LOVE being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

When I turned 18, I was called to serve as a Young Women leader in my ward, where I gave lessons every Sunday to girls between the ages of 12 and 14. I absolutely loved working with the girls as I see them as my friends and my sisters. They always brought a bright and exciting attitude to church every week and inevitably ended up teach ME the lesson. I have now been released from Young Women as I have been called to serve a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Manchester, England. I am voluntarily dedicating 18 months of my life to the service of the Lord and invite others to come unto Christ by sharing my personal testimony with them. I have such a passion for missionary work, and feel so privileged to be able to share with the people of England the things that have blessed my life so tremendously.
