Hi I'm Olivia

My name is Olivia, I am from Utah. I dream of changing the world one person at a time. Be the change. I am a Mormon

About Me

My name is Olivia. I am a daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, cousin, and friend. Everything I do explains who I am. My actions speak louder than my words. I am an extrovert. I enjoy being surrounded by people, that is where I am most happy. I truly love nature. I would do anything to help protect this beautiful world we live in. I am currently a student studying nursing. I hope to one day change with the world with my medical experience. The outdoors is a place I love to be, whether it is hiking, biking, swimming, walking, or just sitting quietly on a blanket as I read a good book. Reading is truly a passion even though I do not have much time to read when I do it is my escape. The world to me is an open book waiting to be explored and discovered. Music has always been a love but sadly I must rely on others for enjoyment in that area. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano but never had the chance. A challenge for the future is to learn! I love life, everything about it is so... magical!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. It is slightly funny to actually say those words for 3 years ago I would have never imagined myself ever saying them. I am proud to say them now. I am a convert. I am a sinner. I am a result of God's mercy, love, and forgiveness. I have been surround by the LDS faith my entire life and have never accepted or did I ever want to. It wasn't until I was 16 years old that my walls were broken down by two Elder's willing to serve their Heavenly Father. My family situation was falling apart, my world was literally on shaky ground. It was at that humble time did The Lord truly open my eyes. I listened to the words the missionary had to share. As I pondered on their words I allowed my heart to be open. It was then did I realized that Heavenly Father was always there for me, but that it was I that was turned away from Him. I committed soon after to be baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Why am I a Mormon? The answer is simple. I am a Mormon because I believe!

How I live my faith

As a member of the church it is my duty to spread the gospel however I can do, and that's not just to nonmembers. I have been able to serve in multiple callings since my conversion. I was able to the Laurel's President in my ward. I truly enjoyed this calling for it gave me the opportunity to enlighten the young woman of the beauty within them. I have also been able to be a visiting teacher coordinator, FHE Mother, and EFY Youth Counselor. All of these opportunities not only helped those around me but helped me as well. I feel that as you are serving The Lord you are choosing to be more like him which allows you to become closer to him. I truly love serving. No matter how, when, or why. Just SERVE!
