Hi I'm Jessica

I'm from Utah and am serving a mission in Korea. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children and I am currently in college studying English. I love to read and play the piano. I have been a ward organist since I was fourteen, and I studied it in college for a year. I love to sing and have been in several choirs over the years. I have been raised in the church all my life, and I have a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know it is true with my whole heart, and that is why I am serving a mission for the church in the country of South Korea!

Why I am a Mormon

The church has always been a major part of my life, which is such a blessing to me! My parents and grandparents are members, but like everyone else, I had to find out for myself if the church was true. As a teenager, I immersed myself into learning more about it and prayed to know if it was true for myself. I have learned "line upon line, precept upon precept" that this is the true church and I continue to learn everyday. My testimony continues to grow as I live the way that I know God would want me to live. I know this is the true church, and I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have asked Heavenly Father with the faith that He would answer my prayer. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon by the gift and power of God. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God and that the apostles are called of God. I know that Jesus Christ gave his life for us and that we can become like Him and live with Him again someday. Repentance and Forgiveness is possible, even if it seems impossible. I know this to be true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in the church all my life. I have served in leadership positions in the youth groups, and I have been a ward organist for several years. I also love to visit other women in the ward. I love the opportunities that I have to serve others and help them grow in the gospel, and I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had to let others serve me as well. Service is a basic principle of this church, and I know that it will bring blessings and love to those that take the time to serve well.
