Hi I'm Dallin

I'm a missionary in Virginia and North Carolina. I love Spanish! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Dallin Remund and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have grown up all over the western half of United States! I grew up in California, moved over to Colorado, and then moved to Utah where I spent my high school and college years. I have moved around a ton, but have made good friends and memories in each place I've lived. One of the few things that has stuck with me throughout all those moves is music. Every year for the past six years I have been singing and performing with choirs across the country. Right now, I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Virginia Chesapeake mission. I am preaching the gospel in Spanish. I am serving in North Carolina. I love being a missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed with the opportunity to be born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was baptized and confirmed a member at the age of eight. I knew the gospel to be true at a very young age, so my conversion has not been one defining moment, but a continual, ongoing process of learning and reaffirming truths in my heart through everyday experiences. I have learned that obedience to Heavenly Father brings me immense joy. I have also learned countless times throughout the years that being disobedient to the Lord brings heartbreak, sorrow, and guilt. It is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ that I have been able to repent and come back to Heavenly Father and feel his infinite love and light by continually turning away from those paths I once walked. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ's sacrifice. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ offered himself to suffer and die for us because He loved us. I have felt that love as I have learned of Him and followed His perfect example. I know that no man is perfect, but we can strive for perfection, and the Lord will bless us for our efforts. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read the words many times and the words in that book are undeniably inspired of God and are true. The Lord chose Joseph Smith to bring out this wonderful gospel in these times for all of His children. I know that we are lead today by our inspired prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of God on earth today. This gospel is wonderful and I am incredibly blessed to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ told his disciples to feed His sheep. I am living my faith by serving the Lord as a missionary in Virginia and North Carolina for two years. I am helping the people here in whatever way I can; whether that be through sharing the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ or lending a helping hand wherever possible. I have held multiple callings as a youth helping plan activities or lessons in church as a quorum counselor or president. Growing up, my dad would take me home teaching other families. Oh, that I had learned to practice what I know now! But service is what kept me active in going to church and also what makes me happy right now!
