Hi I'm Kaden Reed

I'm an adrenaline junkie, I Love soccer, wrestling and anything active, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm From Clearfield Utah! and currently serving in the England London South (Mandarin Chinese) Mission. I love the outdoors which include but are not limited to: Four wheeling, boating, jet skiing, cliff diving, skiing, snowboarding, camping, playing soccer/all other sports, working in the yard, and building/fixing/working with my hands. Basically anything that's physically active I'm there! I hope to play soccer in college, and I work for a security and surveillance company by manufacturing DVR's and installing camera/access control systems.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, but that is NOT why i'm here. I have gone through pains and trials along with everyone else. There were times I thought God didn't care, there were times I didn't think I would make it to see the way out. Days where I just was flat out done. However, days where I had no faith, I held on to hope, and hope got me through. As I have studied, and prayed, and sought out to find answers. I have found them. I have found that although the days I had only hoped, God was really there. God was very operational in what was going on. Tho I thought I couldn't see His influence, I was actually being carried by Him. I know this to be true. I have felt that. I have felt the saving grace of God. As I have felt unworthy of anything. He has always come through, to show me His love, and continues to do so. I'm a Mormon because it is the truth. I have felt of that truth, and I cannot deny that truth. I cannot deny the Love that God Himself has shown me. He is the everlasting Master. And I will serve Him the best that I can. If you are here seeking to find out what we are about. Pray. Seek for God. Read His words, and Ask Him. I promise you He Will answer you. And you can also have the conviction and the testimony of His words as well. I will pray for you. That's what we are all about. Helping others, and serving Him and His children. And that, is why i'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm currently serving as a full time Missionary in England. I am doing this because of my love for our Father in Heaven. It's difficult. I miss my family, but I know this is where God wants me to be. Spreading His word, and helping His children come home. There's nothing more important in this life than helping those who don't know, find their way back to him. I live my faith by trusting in Him. And allowing His spirit to lead me.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kaden Reed
Absolutely! This is my favorite part about the church, and one that hits the deepest parts of my heart. At the age of 8 My Mother gave birth to a still born baby. He was going to be my first brother, but he was gone. That shook our family, but only made us stronger in the end. The teachings that families can be together forever really began to matter and the experiences through out the rest of my life are what has made my testimony what it is today. I have felt and still feel of his presence with me. Although I never spoke to him, I have a growing and thriving relationship with him. I feel his spirit with me at times when I need it most, and at times when he just wants to stop in and say hi. He lives and I know it. Having not experienced this myself I don't know how easy it would be to believe the words that I speak, but I truly believe that Death Is not the end of our relationships. The Lord has revealed through Joseph Smith that the same spirit that exists among us here will exist among us in heaven. (Doctrine&Covenants 130) I know that the relationship I have with my Brother does exist, and it will exist when I return to see him one day. How happy the day will be when I can finally toss a Football with him and my other Brother. Till then, I'll go about my business here, and let him go about this business there, and when I and my family pass on, we will live with him, together, forever. Show more Show less

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Kaden Reed
Because it's true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is the true and living church of the true and living savior of the world. When one submits their will to Gods, God will show them the truthfulness of these things in the way that that individual needs. When one like myself, truly seeks for the Lord, He will be found. The church doesn't persuade or try to auction off membership into the church, it's a free choice to those who will stand up and take it. People are freely and openly accepting the teachings and words we teach, and are joining the church because they feel their spirits dance with understanding and joy when they hear the words of our savior telling them to return home to him and that he has provided a way for that to take place. the church grows because when the children of God hear His words and approach him out of humility and lowliness of heart, because of the love He has for each of us, He answers. He will always answer. Due to these answers, people recognize they must make the changes necessary to take part in the wonderful plan he has created, and they do. Show more Show less
