Hi I'm Shantelle

I live on a farm in Oklahoma and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Oklahoma and I am the oldest in my family. I am finally an adult and I am currently studying Art Education at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I love traveling and listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I love it. I know that what is being taught is true. I believe that we are all spirit sons and daughters and that we are here on Earth to learn and grow and see that our Heavenly Father knows and loves us and wants us to be happy. I know that the Bible is true, that we are able to have such faithful examples to live by. We are all able to have the same potential as Moses, Abraham, and Daniel. I also believe in the Book of Mormon. Just like the Bible, The Book of Mormon is about prophets in the old days, but in the America's. I know that what was written is true. I have read their stories since I was a little girl, and I still feel the truth in their words today. Something I also love about this church is that we have modern day Prophets. We have a prophet and apostles to help guide us in this day and age. I love that we are able to have new doctrine to learn and be guided by. I am so grateful for a modern-day prophet and apostles. I know the many blessings that have happened in my life because of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am grateful for fasting and prayer and the many miracles that have been caused because of that. I am grateful for Jesus Christ that he died for us, he died for you and me. He died that we may see him again. I am grateful that I can repent and be forgiven of my sins and that I am able to always feel God's love through the Holy Ghost. I know that the church is true. I know it, I live it, and I love it.

How I live my faith

Other than reading my scriptures and trying to keep the commandments, I have a calling in our church boundaries to record when the ladies visit their assigned women and teach them a little lesson and make sure that these women are doing well. It is such a great calling because I am able to met many great women and are able to help them in any way.
