Hi I'm Alisha

I grew up in Las Vegas. I'm a Wife, a Mother of four, a Medical Technician, a Children's Author, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love walking in, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors and nature with my family. I like to go fishing, listen to music and dance with my kids. I love to travel and experience the cultures of other people. My husband is English and a chiropractor. I lived in the UK for a total of over 8 years(including Scotland, Wales, and England), we plan to return to live there soon. We have had the opportunity of visiting many different countries with our family. I enjoy writing children's stories and have had one published so far. I love scrap booking memories for us and our children. I enjoy crafting, jewelry making, and I am learning to crochet. I have recently developed a love of doing family history, I love to learn of my pioneer ancestors, of their trials and growth in the church. Most of all I love spending time with my family and am so grateful for the knowledge that we can be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Although my father is not a Mormon, he is a Christian and supports us in our beliefs. My mother was born in the church and has raised my sisters and I in the church. I was baptized when I was 8, but my conversion has been a life long process of seeking answers through the scriptures and prayer, and by my faith growing through the answers to my prayers and the confirmations of my beliefs. I am a Mormon because I know the church is true.

How I live my faith

I try to do my best to represent on the outside the love of Christ I have on the inside. I love and want to be like Him. I had the great opportunity to serve voluntarily as a missionary for the church In Scotland for 18 months, this time taught me much and has changed my life forever. I have had the opportunity to teach the youth in several different capacities and enjoy seeing their growing testimonies of Jesus. Most of all I strive to live my faith by teaching my children both by word and example.
