Hi I'm Heath Johnson

I was born and grew up in Utah. I love to play sports and enjoy the outdoors. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a teenager just about to graduate high school. I am preparing to serve a mission. I love to play any kind of sport and always enjoy learning new ones. I am interested in becoming a surgeon when i am older. Learning how and why the human body works the way it does has always been fascinating to me. I am very excited to go into the world to preach the gospel that I love. And share my knowledge and blessings with the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to love the gospel and to love the lord as a learn of his life and study his teachings. I know that president Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of god and he gives us guidance and words of wisdom from god. The church helps me through many trials that i have face and it gives me strength to know that i can return to live with my father in heaven some day. I am a mormon because as i choose to do things that I know are right the spirit stays with me and reaffirms the truthfullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am a leader in my church youth group. Being a leader helps me to be aware of the example that I am setting for the other young men in my ward and neighborhood. I am grateful for spirit that guides me and helps me to make decisions. I live my faith by participating in church meetings and in my community. I also strive to be a positive example to the people that i associate with in school and in my community. I am preparing to serve a mission where i will have the opportunity to share the gospel through my words and actions to people in other parts of the world.

What is faith?

Heath Johnson
The book of Hebrews in the bible clarifies that "Faith is a hope for things which are not seen, which are true". I understand this to mean that it is a belief in something that you cannot prove. I have faith that I can recieve forgiveness when I make mistakes. But it is also more than just believing, it is trust in and a willingness to act on your faith and beliefs. I think that it also means that I am not ashamed of my testimony, like the apostle Paul said. Faith is the first step to conversion. Show more Show less
