Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in Rupert, Idaho. I love football and smiling. I'm never more myslef than when I'm dancing...and DA! Eu îs Mormon.

About Me

I am almost half way through with my mission in Romania! Despite being stretched to all extremes I still remain shorter than I'd like...however I've grown more on my mission than I ever thought possible. I am the youngest of 5 children. 4 boys and 1 girl. Yep, I was pretty spoiled growing up. In high school I loved playing sports and dancing. I attended Idaho State University for 1 semester where I was part of a dance group called DANSON. Performing with those people are some of the funnest memories I have. As far as the "you are stranded on an island and you get to take one thing with you" question for me it would be my family. THEY are one of my biggest motivations. They are my best friends! My little nieces and nephews crack me up and I can't wait to play with them again. I LOVE seeing people smile. I wish there was a job that was "People Smiler" where you just went around making people smile. I have yet to find that job where a red squeaky nose and big shoes aren't a requirement. Basically I just love going around and giving people new "happy beans" to put in their pouch of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I simply enjoy being happy. Who doesn't? Being in this church always brings such happiness. I love the truthfulness of life after this. Oh how that sweet sentence rings through the halls of time. I'm a Mormon because I truly do need Him every hour. Despite being born into this church, I spent countless hours on my knees begging for an answer. And for the longest time it did not come. After my first two tries I gave up. Over a period of time, however, my answer has come in the smallest, most simple ways. Like a text, a smile, or even a simple human being. All these little experiences have built inside of me a testimony that is now unshakable. So why am I a Mormon? Because I KNOW this church is the ONLY, complete, restored, church on the face of the earth. This knowledge far outweighs ANY worldly or material possession. I may not know everything about my religion, but I know God loves me, and that He is happy with the way I have chosen to live my life...and for me, that is enough.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith. Well, to be completely honest, I WOULD say by serving a mission. However, the longer I am out here the more I am learning that this mission is SO much more for me than it is for anyone else. On my mission I have been my coolest investigator. And I don't mean that to sound boastful. I have transformed in ways I never imagined. How I live my faith? It can't be just by serving this mission, cuz what happens when the mission is over? No, the thing I have learned is this eternal road extends on into countless beautiful sunsets. With as small as my testimony was in high school, certain events lead me to realize that people need to know they are appreciated. They need to know they are loved. It's MY job to be that voice. Before mission, during, and after it will be my job. OUR JOB. There is a gauge in which we can all tell if we are on the right track in life. Take the question "How I live my faith" and if the answer can change one simple letter from that and make you say oh, "How i LOVE my faith", THAT'S when you are on the right track.
