Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in Edmonton, Canada. My favourite place is Jasoer National Park, in the Rocky Mountains. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My favourite memories are of me and my family, camping in the Rockies or at home playing a board game. We always have good times when we're together. After my two years of missionary service, I hope to attend a college and learn more about the fascinating world I live in.

Why I am a Mormon

My Family for generations before me have been faithful members of the church. You might think that I am only a member because iris what my parents do, but that's not true. I have read The Book of Mormon and prayed to know it is true. I received knowledge from the Holy Spirit that The Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith translated it with Gods Power. Joseph Smith restored the fullness of the gospel and organized The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that the church Is led by a true prophet today, called of God and given authority to reveal God's will for his church and the whole world.

How I live my faith

I attend every meeting I can, whether it's the regular Sunday meetings, fire sides or devotionals, or week-day activities. I love to be with other members of the church and feel the bright, happy spirit we have when gathered together. I try to be kind to everyone: strangers, acquaintances, friends, and even those who I don't want to be friends with. I try to expand my understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ by studying the scriptures and praying with sincerity. I hope that studying the life of Christ, his words and deeds, I can act as he would and be one a better person, which is what the gospel and the church are all about.
