Hi I'm Chloe

I am a student, a violinist, a wife, big sister, lover of the outdoors, and a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of eight children. Yes, big families are wild and loud and busy and can be hard, but I love it and feel so lucky. One thing we do that brings us closer is spending time outdoors; we love camping, hiking, backpacking, and generally being under the open sky. I have played violin since I was a little girl, and am now studying it in college so I can make beautiful music my whole life. College is challenging and can be overwhelming, but it is the challenge that helps me grow. I recently married my best friend and it is the best thing I have ever done. I am happy to be alive right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I prayed and asked God if this Church is true. I read the Book of Mormon, the evidence that this Church is true, and received a confirmation that the book is true, and so is the Church, the only whole true church of Jesus Christ on the earth. But more importantly, living the gospel taught in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me happy. It is not always easy, but this is where I find purpose in my life, and the strength to keep going through challenges, and to love others. This is where I learned who I am and who I can be. The more I live it, the closer I feel to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is quite simple. My goal each day is to be better than I was yesterday. I do that by repenting, living God's commandments, attending the temple regularly, and going to church each Sunday. I read the scriptures daily, and do visiting teaching, or visiting other women in my ward to boost them through challenges or just to be a friend. The Church gives me some structure to be able to live my faith.
