Hi I'm Cassi

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am a violinist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, I'm not very good at them, but I think they're fun whether or not I am excelling in them. More than sports though I love music. I am a violinist and am working towards my bachelor's degree in violin performance.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know what it adds to my life. I can see how close it encourages my family to be because my siblings and parents are my best friends. Being a Mormon makes me want to be the best that I can be, and that is special to me because it reminds me that i can make a difference, even if it's not very noticeable, it is important to me. I know that the joy I feel each day comes from the gospel, and that is such a special thing for me because I love to be happy, and I love to smile. I know that all the blessings I can see in my life come from being a member of this church, they come from the decisions I make to follow Christ and to try my best every day to be more like Him. I'm a Mormon because deep down, it always feels good and right to me, and I know that it will always feel that way.

How I live my faith

Right now I am preparing to serve an 18-month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The way in which I'm choosing to live my faith until I leave for my mission is by working in the temple. I love the opportunity to not only serve the Lord, but to help others serve the Lord too. I can't imagine what my life would be like right now without that time spent in the temple and I've seen so many blessings come from it.
