Hi I'm Kathleen

I am a wife, mother of three marvelous daughters and a mother-in-law. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU and served a mission to Japan before I taught school. I enjoy the beauty of nature, music, education and family history. I love learning new things and honor the education of my family and others which improves the quality of our lives. Spending time with my family and traveling the world are some of my favorite things to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always known the gospel is true. As my life has unfolded, I have seen the love of Heavenly Father and perfect timing for the events in my life as prayers have been answered. Though I grew up without brothers and sisters, I've enjoyed great friendships and had his protection through challenges like my ancestors. I have received forgiveness for my sins through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know keeping the commandments and standards of the church has blessed my life and gives me joy and happiness. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet. We can progress and be with our families forever through the ordinances received in the temples of our God. We can return to be with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and our loved ones into the eternities.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures and pray daily, attend church and the temple. I try to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost and love those I meet. I visit sisters in my area as a friend to give positive support to their lives. I enjoy singing in the choirs. Recently, I played the organ after many years of not using that skill and this was amazing to me. I enjoy helping people find information about their ancestors. Discovering the personalities, challenges and deeds of my ancestors has given me understanding to overcome my own problems and face the future with faith and happiness.
