Hi I'm Jocelyn

I grew up in Idaho as the middle child of a family of seven. I am going to school to become a nurse and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When asked as a little girl what I wanted to be when I grew up, it always pertained to a career in the medical field. I am now making that dream a reality by going to school to become a nurse. I love learning about the body. I love the outdoors and I love my family. I grew up in the church and the high school I attended didn't have very many members so I had to be strong in my beliefs and standing alone just made me a stronger person. I know that anything worth having is hard work and I work hard each day for the things I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel is true. I know that through Jesus Christ's atonement I can repent and become clean again so that I may live in the presence of my Heavenly Father. I have personally felt the power, and the peace and comfort that the atonement gives. I know that families sealed in the temple are eternal. Being a Mormon gives me a reason to live. I know my purpose, and I know where I am going. I have no doubt that this church is true and I have seen the difference it makes in others lives. The true gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness in my life and I wouldn't want to live any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith just by being an example to others. I dress modestly, I don't swear, or drink, I try to live my life the way Heavenly Father wants me to. I am not afraid to share what I believe. I am currently preparing to serve a mission in the Utah Salt Lake City South mission. Of course my coworkers ask me why I am going on a mission and what missionaries do. Instead of being ashamed or embarrassed I tell them everything they want to know. I want others to know the truth that I know so I share it with them.
