Hi I'm Madison.

I am a Music Dance Theatre major. I am a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am obsessed with all things theatre and film. My passion is performing. I strongly believe that entertainment can be the greatest influence for good in this crazy mixed-up world we all live in. I train Guide Dogs for the Blind and am currently on my 5th dog in 5 years. These experiences have brought an ample amount of love and happiness to my family and I hope to continue doing this for the rest of my life. I love to travel anywhere and everywhere and have been incredibly spoiled in this area. I just finished my freshman year of college as a Music Dance Theatre major at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. I just got back from China touring with BYU's performing group, the Young Ambassadors. My experience as a Young Ambassador has forever changed my life and I am eager to return to the group after my mission for the LDS church to Lyon, France from September 2013 to March 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because my life is better when I choose to follow this Gospel. I know that when I am doing the simple things that God commands of me (i.e. going to church, reading my scriptures, trying to be Christ-like) that my life is significantly better than when I am trying to go at it on my own. I love the simplicity of this Gospel and my relationship with my Savior and brother, Jesus Christ. I will never be able to doubt that there is a divine power who knows me and deeply cares about me and my well-being. This Gospel is filled with such hope and love-- something I think everyone wants and can relate to. I'm a Mormon because I choose to do what makes me happy.

How I live my faith

I am currently set apart as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. As a literal representative of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I willingly choose to devote my life completely to my faith and my God for an 18-month period. The work has already brought me so much joy! Although it is the hardest thing I've ever done, the blessings I receive greatly outweigh the consequences. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ; I cannot wait to share it with the people of southern France-- and whoever else may need to hear it!
