Hi I'm David Burns

I grew up in Memphis. I love to be goofy by juggling and riding unicycles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Tennessee my entire life and I absolutely love experiencing the outdoors. I have an awesome mother, father, and sister who have loved and supported me throughout the years. I'm graduating high school this year and am preparing to serve a mission in Brazil for the next two years. I hope to eventually come back and study to become a mechanical engineer. I enjoy standing out and as a result I've learned to ride a unicycle, juggle, yo-yo, and do many other things. At the end of the day though I truly love spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I've always been a Mormon and been taught the religion but I've remained in the church because I was told to pray about it and seek for myself its true. I know that God lives and loves me and he has brought me true peace into my life as I have lived the standards that come with being a Mormon. Being a Mormon has helped push me to become a better person and I truly believe that the church was restored by Joseph Smith. I know that Jesus Christ died for us and that through his atonement we all can be forgiven of our sins.

How I live my faith

Since I'm attending high school I try and live my faith by keeping my language, and actions clean. Many times people have commented on how they never hear me swear and I hope to continue this image. I also try and treat everyone fairly and I work to be a friend to those who may need one. Currently I serve as assistant scout master in our troop and I try and set an example for the boys around me. I also teach them about scouts and church when I get the chance.
