Hi I'm Dallin

I grew up in Yakima Washington. I love to run. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am the youngest of five children. My family was all raised in the church, and served as a great example to me. I graduated from high school and went on to continue my education at college. I like to do outdoor sports and activities. I have done a triathlon, and many long backpacking trips. I ran cross country and track in high school and continued to run at college during my freshman year. I graduated from seminary and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout when I was 15. I like to go hunting with my dad and dogs and in the fall and winter, and during the summer I like to do anything in the water. After my freshman year at college, I turned in my missionary papers to serve a full time mission for two years. I received my call a couple weeks later to the Panama City Panama Mission, Spanish speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to have been born into a family who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was a typical youth growing up in the church, but when I went to live on my own at college, I really learned to appreciate all the blessings that I had been receiving from being a member of this church. Having been baptized and confirmed, I have received the gift of the Holy Ghost to be with me always, and that has been a huge blessing in my life. The Holy Ghost has served as a guide and a comforter to me, especially at times of trials. I continue to be a part of this Church, because the spirit of God testifies to me that it is true. Don't just take my word for it though, ask in faith, and you will know that this church is the only true church on the earth today, because it contains the fullness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I like to go to sporting events in my community. Sometimes I help out at swim meets or track meets with the timing. I have done lots of service projects with my church as a youth. When I turned 12 years old, I began home teaching a few members of my ward with my dad. When I went to college I was called to serve as the Ward Financial Clerk.
