Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Billings, MT. I am a college student studying to become a social worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include jewelry making, singing, swing dancing, helping people, cooking, sewing, and anything involving crafts. My interests involve social work, motivational speaking, teaching, and writing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the church. Though my years were spent going to church with my family, I have grown to have my own testimony. After graduating high school and moving away from home I have continued to be an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know with all my heart that this is the same church that was on the Earth in Jesus Christ's time. It was restored once again upon the Earth by Joseph Smith, a true prophet called by God. Joseph translated The Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, through the power of God. I know that Jesus lives. He died for our sins so that we would have a way to return and live with him and our Heavenly Father forever. Jesus bore every pain that we bare. Through our loving Savior we are able to receive peace and be able to be forgiven of our sins. Our Father in Heaven knows us all by name. He knows our struggles, strengths, and weaknesses. We can directly pray to him and receive answers to our prayers. He loves us and wants us to follow his commandments and he gives us everything we need to return. This is a message that I know to be true, and something I would love for everyone to know for themselves. This is why I choose to continue as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have always been greatly involved in the various wards I have lived in. I have been a junior youth leader many times as well as a teacher. I also have worked with the missionaries in my ward by helping them teach lessons.
