Hi I'm Eldon

I'm an arboreal hugging, pysgota loving, pointer of the camera and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My amazing wife calls me her welsh hero. I have 3 young growing kids who are completely delicious. I love all things outdoors, including teddy bear picnics in the garden with my girls. I can't wait to take my boy fly fishing and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church because I have a knowledge that families will be together forever. Being raised as a Mormon wasn't always easy but after losing my dad at a young age, I have always held onto that hope and knowledge that me, my mam and my sisters will see him again soon. The principles of this Church help me with raising my own children and being a better husband. Also it's a good social network with regular activities, events and opportunities to serve.

How I live my faith

I currently volunteer with the youth of the church aged 12-18. We hold regular activities such as indoor hockey, chair football, offering service and winter camps. Last winter we camped in a stone hut and hiked the Brecon Beacons. It was great but reminded me that I'm not 15 again and I spent alot of time at the back of the line! I love the fresh air of Wales. As well as these activities I also teach the young men (boys 12-18) on a Sunday and visit with their families once a month. I feel that if I can be any influence in their lives I want it to be a good one.
