Hi I'm sage parsons

i grow up in Washington state, i love the out doors, i know my savior lives and i'm a Mormon

About Me

i live in the great northwest with a wonderful family. i have seven siblings, i'm the 6th. i look towards all of my siblings and my parents for the joy i receive on a daily bases along with my heavenly father. my passion for sports is and will ever be soccer. i am currently on my mission to be an instrument in the hands of the lord, to spread his gospel, to love his children, and to give others the knowledge that i have received myself. i have a sure foundation upon my savior, Jesus Christ. that foundation has brought me to the realization of the true-fullness of the doctrine that this church teaches.

Why I am a Mormon

i'm a Mormon because my father in heaven manifested the truth of the book of Mormon unto me by the power of the holy ghost, as i prayed to know if the book of Mormon is true... ask the source of all truth. our father which are in heaven. nevertheless put the understanding not in the arm of flesh and bone but in the immortal creator. the biggest benefactor to my testimony of the church is the holy spirit. if are hearts are broken and spirits contrite then the spirit, in his doe course, can teach us.

How I live my faith

i always strive to be someone who is a doer in word and in deed. i have found that charity and service is the greatest course of action any one can partake in. as i serve my fellow man the light of Christ grows with-in me. as it grows the ability to listen to the small still voice, that entices me to live better, also becomes easier to hear. i have learned that missionary work is not my work. i am not the one bringing these souls back to salvation, to heaven, to my heavenly father. i'm a big advocate on our potential. one thing i learned is that we are someone, we are something. god loves each one of us, and he has giving us the potential, the opportunity, to be joint-heirs of his kingdom, of his glory, with Jesus Christ our savior. but at the same time he also gave us the potential, the choice to be nothing. it is our choice who we want to be. so who do you want to be? we can use the tools that god has given us to be great, scripture, church, prayer, modern day prophets, ect... and be great in the sight of our lord. or we can ignore the gifts he has given us and just be nothing. if we learn to be great in the sight of man we will only be such. if we adapt our soul and learn and grow, we will be one glorious immortal being. i live my faith trusting in the lord. and acting as i preach.
