Hi I'm Jason

I'm from Utah, serving a mission in Manchester England, can speak English, Spanish, and Mandarin, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California and raised in Utah. I am the 3rd of 5 Children, I am currently serving a full-time mission in the blessed land of the England Manchester Mission! I have played guitar for 9 years and love listening to good music. I can speak English (obviously), Spanish (sort of) and Mandarin (sort of). I like to hike, be outdoors, enjoy nature, play video games, and watch the NBA! Through the gospel I have come to a knowledge of my place in this world, where I belong, and where I am going, and you can too!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, my parents converted when they were living in El Salvador. I have been truly blessed to have the knowledge of the Gospel in my life. Growing up, it was hard for me to believe all the things I had been taught in Church, specifically why bad things happen to good people? As I embarked on my journey to find truth I found that we cannot find all the answers but, what we can find is lasting peace in our hearts, the assurance that everything happens for a reason and that our lives are more than just random chaos. Key to this was learning and experimenting on the Word of God. I have come to know that as we obey God's commandments, even though sometimes we may not understand why they are important, we will be blessed. Life is full of decisions we can make, our lives are like a road, there are thousands of roads we can go down, but God has told us if we go down a specific set of roads that we will be able to have to most happiness. I know that this is true, I have seen it in my own life time and time again. I have come to love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, mind, strength, and soul. I know He lives and I know this life has a more meaningful purpose than working and wasting our lives away and then dying and letting our minds slip into nothingness. More importantly I know you can find out too, if you just slow down and observe the world around us. Nature itself denotes there is a God

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to find ways to serve those around me. I study the words of God as found in the scriptures, and try to pattern my life after Christ's. I am currently serving as a missionary for the church in England.
